The Wall Mounted unit is typically installed in the resident's unit in an area where the resident will typically pass during the course of a day like a hallway leading to the bedroom or bathroom area or near the front door. This unit has a built-in proximity detector which automatically monitors resident activity eliminating the need for the resident to press an "I'm OK" button every day. However, the daily check-in can be done manually with the press of a button if preferred.

The Table Top unit is available as a standard unit or with a built in alarm clock which is called SAFE-T-CLOCK. In addition to all the standard alarm clock features SAFE-T-CLOCK also has a nap alarm and large system activation button.

Residents can activate the system wirelessly via a pendant transmitter which is worn as a necklace, wristband, belt clip or key fob. These pendants are waterproof and programmable. The system can also be connected to wireless pull cords, the resident's smoke detector, or security system along with other devices as required.

Task Tracking is a Digital Designs exclusive option that allows you to track the activities performed in the resident's room such as Life Care Functions, Maintenance, Housekeeping, etc (up to 6 categories). This option lessens the paperwork for the provider and creates completely accurate data and reports.

The Central Station Computer is designed with a completely intuitive interface and automatically collects all system activity information. All information on the Central Station Computer can be shared across the facility's computer network with designated members of the management team. This information can also formatted into reports or exported into other programs.

Site-wide Out of Room Coverage for Emergency Calls
SAFE-T-Net provides Emergency Call System coverage beyond the resident's room into hallways, common areas and other facility areas. The system consists of a network of wireless receivers placed throughout the facility, accepting transmissions from a wireless pendant worn by the resident. SAFE-T-NET can cover up to 1,000,000 square feet. Residents can walk anywhere in the facility with confidence that when they press their button help will be summoned.

The TD-1000 is a device which is installed in the telephone closet of the facility which provides two functions:

First it can provide a connection to the SAFE-T-CALL Emergency Call System when a resident does not have phone service (dial tone) in their room. All residents (with or without telephone service) will be connected to the system through the TD-1000.

Secondly, the TD-1000 can be configured to allow the facility to make announcements into the resident's rooms via the speaker built into the in-room unit.
